The engagement

FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY

What we did

  • UI and UX collaboration
  • Website engineering
  • React
  • Headless CMS
  • Publishing workflows

SigFig needed its corporate website to reflect a business moving quickly. Working with its creative team, we brought design and engineering together to deliver a considered web experience and a publishing architecture that could develop with the company.

Originally delivered by 0707 with SigFig’s creative team.

01 / THE CHALLENGE

Make the website match the ambition.

The website needed to present a complex fintech business clearly, with a strong visual experience and room for information to grow. Delivery also had to move quickly. That required design choices and engineering decisions to be made together, with the client’s team closely involved.

02 / THE APPROACH

Keep the creative and technical work connected.

We worked directly with SigFig’s team to understand the brief and translate the design into the website. The engineering used a React frontend and a headless publishing setup with Netlify CMS. The collaboration included helping the team understand and work with the new publishing approach.

The design in detail

03 / THE DELIVERY

Build a foundation the team could develop.

The result connected a custom corporate website with a content-management architecture for ongoing updates. Close reviews between the respective design and engineering teams kept the implementation tied to the intended experience. The work focused on both what the visitor sees and how the business maintains it.

The outcome

What changed

A corporate website supported by a modern publishing model.

The delivered site brought the design and technical foundations into one experience. React engineering and a headless CMS supported SigFig’s corporate content without treating future updates as an afterthought.
