Engineering depth. A clearer digital presence.
A buyer evaluating a locomotive power system and a partner assessing manufacturing capability need different answers. Prag’s website had to serve both while showing the depth behind a broad engineering portfolio.
We connected products, capabilities and company information so visitors could understand the group and find a relevant way forward.
Prag Group / Corporate website and product discovery.
01 / THE CHALLENGE
The expertise was there. The structure needed to catch up.
A technical catalogue can be precise and still leave a buyer unsure where to begin. Prag’s range spans braking, thermal management, auxiliary power, materials and other specialist systems. A flat product list would show the breadth without explaining the relationships.
The task was to make that range understandable, preserve the detail technical evaluators need and give partners and prospective employees a clear view of the wider business.
02 / THE APPROACH
Start with the system. Then reveal the detail.
We organized the experience from the outside in. The homepage establishes Prag’s role in rail engineering, introduces its product families and shows the capabilities behind them. Dedicated pages then take visitors into a specific application, manufacturing process or part of the company.
A first-time visitor gets a useful overview. Someone assessing a particular requirement can move directly to the detail.
THE DESIGN IN DETAIL
Different systems. One engineering group.
Eight product families come together in a radial graphic, with Prag at the centre. Distinct illustrations give each capability a recognizable form; blue and yellow connections make the relationships visible.
The composition introduces the breadth of the group before visitors move into individual specifications and applications.

PRODUCT DISCOVERY
Put the portfolio in context.
The product story begins with the rail environment. An illustrated system connects braking, thermal management, auxiliary power and suspension to the equipment they serve.
Individual product pages carry that approach further. Annotated drawings explain parts and functions alongside the application and key features, so visitors can understand a system’s role before reading its specifications.

03 / DESIGN & ENGINEERING
Keep the next product within reach.
A shared product-page structure brings the system role, primary application, features and enquiry into a consistent sequence. Visitors learn where to find what they need as they move through the range.
A product drawer keeps the wider catalogue available from the detail page. Exploring another system does not require a return to the homepage, and each product offers a direct route into a technical conversation.

04 / ENGINEERING CAPABILITY
Show how engineering reaches the field.
Product information becomes more useful when the process behind it is visible. Design, manufacturing and validation have their own place in the experience, supported by an illustrated sequence from CAD and analysis through prototyping, testing and service.
The sequence helps a visitor assess how Prag works as well as what it makes.
05 / THE COMPANY STORY
Give the company story room to move.
Prag’s history, people and partnerships needed a place alongside its catalogue. An interactive timeline makes company milestones explorable by year, with clear controls for moving between events.
Leadership, careers and company updates extend that story. The established blue-and-yellow identity connects these different subjects without making every page look the same.

06 / RESPONSIVE EXPERIENCE
Make the next step fit the need.
On a smaller screen, the priorities stay clear: understand the offer, explore relevant products and reach the right team. The mobile homepage keeps the introduction and primary actions prominent.
Product enquiries, customer support and careers have distinct routes. A visitor can choose the conversation that matches their reason for arriving.

The outcome
What changed
A clearer route fromexpertise to enquiry.
The redesigned experience connects Prag’s products, engineering capability and company story. Visitors can begin with the wider system, examine a specific product and choose a relevant point of contact. Reusable page structures give future content a consistent foundation.
A portfolio with context
Product families, illustrated systems and consistent detail pages connect the range to its applications.
Expertise made visible
Design, manufacturing, validation and company history show what stands behind the product offer.
A relevant next step
Clear routes distinguish product discussions, customer support and careers enquiries.
