The product

PLAY / FEEDBACK / PRACTICE

What it brings together

  • Simulated hands
  • Decision feedback
  • Focused practice
  • Independent test mode
  • Personal study reports

Learn through the hand you are playing.

AntiGuess combines a simulated poker table with feedback and review. Players can make a decision, understand the reasoning around it and return to a weakness through focused practice. The initial product is iPhone-first, with a shared strategy foundation in development. Chips and play are simulated: the product is a training experience rather than a real-money poker game.

WHY WE ARE BUILDING IT

Knowing the rule is different from recognizing the moment.

A player can study a concept and still hesitate when the same situation appears at the table. AntiGuess is being built around that gap between understanding and recognition. Practice happens through hands, with an opportunity to inspect the choice and try again. The aim is to make deliberate study part of an experience people want to return to.

The opportunity

POKER TRAINING

Make practice easier to continue.

The opportunity is a learning loop that connects the experience of playing with the discipline of reviewing a decision.

Play

Make the decision

Use simulated hands to create a practical setting for learning.

Understand

See the reasoning

Give feedback that helps a player examine a choice rather than simply receive a score.

Repeat

Work on a weakness

Turn review into another focused practice session and a clearer view of progress.

Why this approach

PRODUCT PRINCIPLES

The table and the lesson should work together.

Our thesis is that an enjoyable play loop can support more consistent, deliberate practice.

01

Put learning inside the hand.

Connect decisions and feedback closely enough that the player can understand the situation they just faced.

02

Let the player test independence.

Separate assisted practice from a mode that measures decisions without the same guidance.

03

Use review to shape the next session.

Help players recognize recurring weaknesses and choose a useful area to practice next.

WHAT WE NEED TO GET RIGHT

The feedback has to deserve the player’s attention.

Strategy accuracy — Recommendations must fit the scenarios the strategy model supports, with unsupported situations handled clearly.

Learning value — Reports and feedback need to improve understanding, not just create more statistics.

Practice habit — The play experience must stay engaging enough for learners to return without losing the training purpose.

WHERE WE STAND / BUILDING

An internal prototype. The learning loop in development.

AntiGuess is in the building stage, with an internal iOS prototype and a shared strategy foundation under development. The next proof is the complete learning loop: play, understand, review and return to a useful practice session. Public availability and additional platforms will follow validated scope and release readiness.

Next:

• Validate the supported strategy scenarios.

• Refine the play, feedback and review experience.

• Prepare a focused release for learning through use.
