What it brings together

  • Product discovery
  • Creator profiles
  • Launch presentation
  • Digital-product offers
  • Seller tools

Give a digital product a place to begin.

Sassie is being planned as a place to discover digital products and bring new ones to market. The concept connects the product, the creator and the buying decision, giving makers a way to explain what they have built and giving customers useful context before they commit. The initial focus is a coherent discovery and launch experience that can grow into a broader selling platform.

WHY WE ARE BUILDING IT

Finishing the product does not finish the job.

A creator can build something useful and still struggle to find its first audience. A buyer can encounter plenty of offers without understanding which one fits. Sassie starts at that meeting point. We want to make the product’s purpose, value and intended user easier to understand, then give a launch somewhere to develop beyond a single announcement.

The opportunity

DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND COMMERCE

Help the right product find a relevant audience.

The opportunity sits in the gap between making something and building a repeatable route to market.

Discover

A useful starting point

Help buyers explore digital products by what they need, with enough context to judge fit.

Launch

An understandable offer

Give creators a clear format for demonstrating the problem their product addresses.

Sell

A continuing relationship

Develop a product journey that can support customer questions, updates and repeat discovery.

Why this approach

PRODUCT PRINCIPLES

Better context can make discovery more valuable.

Our thesis is that discovery should center on a product’s use, as well as the attention a launch receives.

01

Lead with the use case.

Make the intended user and the job a product does visible before the buyer has to work through a long sales pitch.

02

Give creators a repeatable launch format.

Build around the information, demonstrations and updates a buyer needs to evaluate an offer.

03

Earn marketplace relevance.

Begin with a focused product category so discovery has a reason to become a habit.

WHAT WE NEED TO GET RIGHT

Attention alone will not sustain the marketplace.

Quality — Products need meaningful descriptions and credible demonstrations.

Focus — The first categories must attract both useful supply and interested buyers.

Commerce — Delivery, customer expectations and creator support need a workable model before selling expands.

WHERE WE STAND / PLANNING

Planning the first category and launch journey.

Sassie is in planning. We are defining who the first creators and buyers should be, which product categories belong together and what a useful launch experience needs to include. The next step is to test that journey with real offers before extending the wider marketplace.

Next:

• Choose an initial digital-product category.

• Test product pages and launch presentation.

• Validate the buyer and seller journey.
