Senior Software Engineer – AI/ML
Lead AI and machine-learning delivery for our products and clients. Own the architecture, engineering decisions and path from prototype to production.

The role
We’re looking for a senior software engineer who can take responsibility for applied AI systems from the first technical decision through ongoing operation. You’ll translate product needs into architecture, select appropriate models and build the software around them.
You’ll lead by making sound decisions and delivering working systems. That includes integrations, evaluation, security, deployment and reliability—not just a convincing demonstration. You’ll work with data science and product leads, guide engineering contributors and establish standards that make the next implementation stronger.
What you’ll own
- Define architecture, technical scope and delivery plans for AI-enabled systems.
- Build product services, APIs, model integrations and workflow automation.
- Evaluate model, retrieval and agent approaches against simpler alternatives.
- Establish quality checks for accuracy, failure handling, latency and cost.
- Own access controls, deployment, observability and production reliability.
- Lead technical reviews, document decisions and guide engineering contributors.
What we’re looking for
You’re an experienced software engineer with applied AI delivery behind you. You can make architectural decisions, write production code and explain the trade-offs to people who own the business outcome.
Must-haves
- Senior software engineering experience with end-to-end delivery ownership.
- Production experience integrating and operating AI or machine-learning features.
- Strong Python, API design, testing and maintainable software development skills.
- Practical knowledge of LLMs, retrieval, model evaluation and ML fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud deployment, security, monitoring and incident investigation.
- Evidence of leading technical decisions, code reviews or engineering mentorship.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with model fine-tuning, inference optimization or MLOps.
- TypeScript, React or multi-tenant software product experience.
- Experience modernizing business systems and integrating complex workflows.
