Lead content marketing for our agency, products, and clients. Set the editorial direction, develop the stories and connect publishing to business growth.

Remote within New Jersey. Applicants must live and work in New Jersey.

The role

We’re looking for an editorial leader who can build a content program with a clear purpose and a recognizable point of view. You’ll own audience strategy, messaging, editorial standards and distribution across websites, articles, email, social and video.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll advise stakeholders, write and edit important work, direct contributors and establish a reliable production rhythm. Success means content that helps the right people understand the business, trust its expertise and take the next step.

What you’ll own

  • Set the content strategy, audience priorities and editorial calendar.
  • Develop campaign narratives, thought leadership and customer stories.
  • Lead writing and editing across web, email, social and video.
  • Set briefs, review standards and approvals for contributors and AI-assisted production.
  • Own production priorities, resource planning and content quality at volume.
  • Improve search visibility, distribution and pipeline contribution with marketing and sales.

What we’re looking for

You’re an experienced content leader with strong editorial judgment and commercial understanding. You can set a strategy, improve a difficult draft and explain why a story deserves an audience.

Must-haves

  • Substantial content marketing experience, including ownership of a cross-channel program.
  • A portfolio showing excellent writing, editing and narrative development.
  • Practical knowledge of SEO, AEO, distribution and content performance.
  • Experience directing contributors, production schedules and editorial review.
  • Evidence of content supporting qualified demand, sales or product adoption.
  • Confidence interviewing experts and advising senior clients and stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agency, consultancy, B2B or software product marketing experience.
  • Experience developing executive thought leadership and long-form resources.
  • Experience improving content operations with CMS tools and AI-assisted workflows.
